I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest and grew up in a small town on the Oregon coast by the name of Seaside, Oregon. I have always loved the outdoors and especially the beach. I once had a job flying kites and giving kite lessons on the beach in Seaside during summers.

I have worked in customer service and customer focused positions my entire working career and I always enjoy meeting new people. Sometimes I'm a little slow to get warmed up to people, but It's like going to the gym... I never know how much I enjoy it until I get my butt in there to experience it.

I'm a veteran of the United States Navy and served for 8 years as a Aviation Electronics Technician Calibration Specialist. I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science (Information Systems Management) and worked for over 20 years as a quality manager for a semiconductor capital equipment manufacturer.

I have a passion for technology and enjoy everything from designing web sites, laser engraving and building art and structures for Burning Man. If there is technology, I haven't learned yet it's because I just haven't slowed down with all the other technology projects that fill my time.

I have traveled all over the globe and visited more than 20 countries and been to five of the seven continents. I've lived in places like Japan and most recently in Ukraine. The Russian invasion of 2022 is what caused me to flee Kyiv, Ukraine and eventually what landed me in Yuma.

There are plenty of stories to tell about the many fascinating experiences I've had over the years. If time allows, maybe we can kick back and share a story or two about the wonders (and challenges) that life brings us.
